Create a Custom Globe

Welcome to the Snapspheres custom globe creator! This page lets you preview and order a sphere from your own image. Popular sources for images are 360° cameras, maps, and artwork.

Our sizes:

  • The 1.5" globe is about the size of a table tennis ball and is made from 6 magnetic tiles
  • The 3" globe is about the size of a baseball and has 12 magnetic tiles
  • The 7" globe is a bit smaller than a volleyball and has 32 magnetic tiles

Some guidelines:

  • Equirectangular images work best. These have twice the width as height. Other images may work. Preview them first to make sure they look good.
  • For the larger 7" globe, a width of at least 4K pixels and up to 20K work best.
  • We will align the piece borders to best fit your image.

1. Load your image

Select your image from your device or drag the image file onto the sphere.
