Welcome to the Snapspheres custom globe creator! This page lets you preview and order a sphere from your own image. Popular sources for images are 360° cameras, maps, and artwork. See our tips and tricks for getting the best results.

3. Order your globe

Select the diameter and quantity and add it to your cart.

Globe sizes

  • Our 1.5" diameter globe is ping-pong ball sized and is made from 6 magnetic tiles
  • Our 3" globe is baseball sized and has 12 magnetic tiles
  • Our 7" globe is a bit smaller than a volleyball and has 32 magnetic tiles

Tips and tricks

  • Equirectangular images work best. These have twice the width as height. Other images may work. Preview them first to make sure they look good.
  • For the larger 7" globe, a width of at least 4K pixels and up to 20K work best.
  • We will align the piece borders to best fit your image.

Uploading large files

For files over 50 MB, contact us and let us know how we can access your file (a shared drive, for example). To continue with your order, click “I will send my file another way”.
